Through a grant from Ben Franklin Technology Partners, the Bridgeworks and AEDC can offer below-market lease rates on light industrial space in a renovated former Mack truck manufacturing facility. With units ranging from 1,100 square feet to over 6,500 square feet, the incubator at the Bridgeworks has assisted lehigh valley entrepreneurs since 1989. The Home Office Alternative at the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center provides office space at below-market rates to entrepreneurs seeking to get away from the pressures of working out of the garage. 200 square foot suites with full connectivity and access to all of the Bridgeworks resources make the Home Office Alternative a tremendous value for those looking to take the next step. Currently, the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center hosts a diverse array of businesses engaged in a variety of industries. From advanced photometric testing at Luminaire Testing Laboratory to leading edge energy management at Integrity Mechanical, the incubator at the Bridgeworks continues to support allentown's entrepreneurial industrial community. The incubator presently supports over 50 employees in the Lehigh Valley in sustainable wage jobs.
